Reservations
Although it might seem rather odd (and occasionally frustrating for some), we have just TWO guest bedrooms at 40 Winks.... ONE double room and ONE single room. The double room sleeps TWO people, and the single room sleeps ONE. This means that we can only accommodate a maximum of THREE guests here at any one time. There are no exceptions to this, so if there are FOUR or more of you, we sadly can’t help.
There is just ONE beautiful bathroom, which is shared by the double room and the single room. If you don’t like sharing or simply want to spoil yourselves, book both rooms and create your own ‘suite’ with bedroom, bathroom and dressing room. We call this the 'double deluxe' package.
Our check-in time is from 2.00pm and our check-out time is by 11.00am.
There are only FIFTY TWO weekends in the year. Friday and Saturday nights are always very popular and are often booked up months ahead, so do try to contact us early to avoid disappointment. Please note that we do also require a minimum TWO night booking if it is a Friday or Saturday night.
We have a very simple pricing structure. We charge £185 per night for the double room and £115 per night for the single room. If you want to book the 'double deluxe' package (maximum two guests), the price is just £265 per night. A continental breakfast is included in these prices. We do review our prices once a year, so our rates for next year may vary slightly.

Book Your Stay
Payment
Because we have so little availability, all reservations must be paid for in full at the time of booking. We take payments through PayPal, which will allow you to pay by credit or debit card simply and securely (even if you don’t have a PayPal account). We can also take payment via BACS transfer if required. We do not take credit card payments over the phone, or payments by cheque. We will automatically confirm your booking on receipt of payment, but if you need an invoice as well, please just let us know.
Any additional charges arising from your stay, including the cost of any repairs to the property or its contents, or the replacement of keys, will need to be paid for either at check-out or within 10 days of the issuing of a bill by our management team.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the worst happens and you need to cancel your booking with us, we can only issue a full refund if you advise us in writing at the latest by midday (GMT) twenty days before the first night of your stay. Your notice of cancellation will only be effective if it is received by our office and confirmed back to you by us. If you need to cancel your booking after this time, any reimbursement will be made entirely at our discretion.
